Corporate Fashion Show Organized by Baba Farid College of Management & Technology.

Extracurricular activities have rapidly been gaining an importance along with the academic activities. Due the diverse interests of college students, the range of extracurricular activity offerings varies extensively. The importance of such activities in preparing students for real life and strengthening their personal skills cannot be questioned. A wide range of activities prepare students better for the future, especially in today’s competitive world. Baba Farid College of Management and Technology (BFCMT) has very well recognized its importance and remains keen to organize activities where students can showcase their talent. Not breaking that chain, MBA Department organized an inter-college competition named Corporate Fashion Show in the last week wherein more than 75 students of various courses participated in a proactive manner.

The program got off to a start with full enthusiasm and Dr. Jasmine Pawar graced the event with their presence and performed the most difficult job of judging this event. All the participants performed equally well and it was really difficult for the judges to select the best. Finally Onkarpreet Singh-MBA, Anmoldeep Kaur- B.Com Prof. bagged first positions followed by Rozer walia-B.Com Prof. and Priyanka B.SC ATHM as runner ups in the same.

Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal- Managing Director, (BFGI) congratulated the participants and winners for their remarkable efforts. S. Dhaliwal said, BFCMT has always taken one step forward for the overall development of students and I appreciate the efforts of MBA Department for organizing such competitions. These activities have gained a unique place as a complementary parameter in achieving academic success and we have a strong belief that the academic experience gets leveraged by supplementing the co-curricular activities. Moreover, participation in such activities teaches a number of life skills and helps you in developing a positive attitude, leadership skills and employers appreciate such qualities. Students also develop skills specific to their career path and imperative for future job success. It enables students to interact with a large number of people and to make a bond with such great personalities in other college as well as outside whom you may not have met otherwise.
