MBAs of Baba Farid College of Management & Technology (BFCMT) gave marvelous results in Punjabi University Patiala Examinations, December 2013

It is not a matter of chance that Baba Farid College of Management & Technology has been giving outperforming university results every year. It is an outcome of continuous efforts of the institute directed towards making learning more interactive. The MBA 1st Year students of Baba Farid College of Management & Technology (BFCMT) have once again outperformed in Punjabi University examinations, Dec-2013. The institute has given 100 percent result wherein Puneet Pal Kaur has topped the list obtaining 91.63% marks followed by Shehnaz Sethi with 89.38% marks and Harpreet Kaur with 88.25% marks. It is worth mentioning that 18 students got more than 85 percent, 50 students got more than 80 percent, 75 students got more than 75 percent and 99 got more than 70 percent marks.

Dr. Manish Bansal-Director Principal, BFCMT said, “The result is a major achievement for the students as well as the institute. Our prime focus has always remained on the overall development of the students. Therefore, we have always aspired to take new initiatives in their interests. Our distinguished teaching methodologies coupled with regular industrial visits have been the key drivers of students’ excellence and the credit for the same goes to our experienced faculty members. To inculcate the practical learning in our students we engage them in research related activities and made live projects a crucial component of their curriculum. We had recently organized our 1st International Conference on “Issues and Perspectives in Brand Management” wherein more than 200 students of MBA presented their papers. In overall the result has been very impressive and we are quite optimistic that we may bag some university positions also. We congratulate all the students and wish them all the best for their bright career ahead.”
