Bajaj Capital selected 25 MBA students of Baba Farid College of Management and Technology

The Placement Season-14 at Baba Farid College of Management and Technology (BFCMT) had started only a month back and the institute has placed 25 more students in Bajaj Capital after finally placing 6 students in Tech Naitra and 11 students in Levons Technologies. In just one month of Placement Season-14, the institute has finally placed 38 students and 4 students have got multiple offers. Due to the multi-dimensional approach for its students, the institute has been becoming a preferred location for leading corporate houses operating in diversified areas like: Information Technology, Banking, Financial Services and Retail etc.

The students appeared for the Personal Interview with full enthusiasm and zeal to crack the interview. The panel members appreciated the way students answered the questions from Marketing and Finance field. The panel was so impressed with the professional attitude and the level of knowledge acquired by the students. The students kept on waiting for the results with fingers crossed and finally 25 students were offered placements. The names of selected 25 students are: Anu Lata, Deewansh Garg, Dilbag Singh, Gagandeep Kaur, Gagandeep Kaur, Geetanjali, Harvinder Singh, Jotpreet Kaur, Manjot Kaur, Manpreet Singh, Monika Rani, Navdeep Kaur, Navneet Kaur, Navroop Kaur, Neha Mittal, Pardeep Kumar Singla, Parminder Kaur, Puneetpal Kaur, Ramanpreet Kaur, Ramanpreet Kaur, Shaiffi Singla, Simarjeet Kaur, Sukhpreet Kaur, Sukhpreet Kaur, Yogesh. It is worth mentioning that Bajaj Capital had offered placements to 21 students in the last year.

Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal- Chairman, Baba Farid Group of Institutions congratulated the students as well as the Faculty members. S. Dhaliwal mentioned, “We have dedicated this year to Skill Development through practical learning and innovative teaching methodologies. We regularly assess the skill set of our students on various parameters and provide an environment so that they sharpen those skills and become employable. On the parallel lines, we regularly organize Industrial Visits and Guest Lecturers from experts in Industry & Academia to provide them practical exposure. This is worth mentioning here that the MBA students have experienced the Guest lecturers from the faculty of IIMs in various fields of management studies. Recently, we had organized a guest lecture by Mr. Varun Aggarwal (Managing Director and CEO) of Profit idea Pvt. Ltd. on Share Market & Share Trading to provide the practical insights regarding stock markets. Our all efforts are directed towards the overall development of students and we are quite confident that with such efforts our students would stand benefitted. In just first month of placement season 2014 we have placed 38 students in reputed organizations. I congratulate all the students and wish them all the best for their bright career ahead.
