BFCMT has been Felicitated as Promising Institute in Best B- Schools 2015

Baba Farid College of Management & Technology (BFCMT) , has again touched the heights of glory and proved that excellence is never an accident. It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, and intelligent execution. The institute has been declared a Promising Institute in the Haryana & Punjab in the list of Best B- Schools 2015. For its continuous efforts towards making learning more interactive and fruitful, the institute was awarded in Knowledge Exchange Summit organized by digital Learning in Jaipur. The list was prepared on the basis of various parameters like: Research and Development activities, Faculty, infrastructure, Placements, Teaching Pedagogy, Foreign Collaborations and Student Reviews etc.

Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal- Chairman,-Baba Farid Group of Institutions (BFGI) said, “Excellence does not come overnight, it is an outcome of dedicated efforts which will yield fruitful results in the long term. We have been putting continuous efforts on all fronts and till now we have succeeded as well in accomplishing our objectives. We had recently organized a Global Summit on Industry Academia Interface wherein we proposed a unique model of university which will deals with the increasing employability on one hands and tackle the needs for skilled manpower on the other hand. We inaugurated a Skill Development Centre which will impart trainings to the students as per the requirements of the industry and further filling the gap between industry and academia. Similarly, our Training & Placement Department has established collaborations with various organizations for the live projects and industrial trainings. We have collaborated with AIESEC which provides Global internship to our students and till many students of BFGI have completed their internship in Egypt, China and Russia etc.

Mr. Sachin Dev - Dean (Academics) said, "It is a major achievement for the institute that it has been declared a promising institute. Our prime focus has always remained on the overall development of the students. Therefore, we have always aspired to take new initiatives in their interest. Our pedagogy coupled with practical exposure through live projects and, industrial visits are the key drivers of students' excellence. This extraordinary outcome of our tireless efforts provides impetus to take more initiative even at faster pace. Therefore we are all set to start more programs directed towards development of overall personality of students. We are quite optimistic and determined that we will succeed in achieving all the objectives aligned with the mission of the institute."
